Update on progress...

Our petition continues to attract attention and collect names in support of our cause to recognize Maurice!  Thank you to our most recent supporters who have signed on since our last update. We're closing in on 50 signatures. I am working on a stratified list of individuals and organizations to target and share the petition with who might help champion our cause. This list consists of influencers and groups related to the mental health community who may support our cause, which is twofold:  to encourage the Hispanic Heritage Foundation to recognize Maurice and his advocacy work on behalf of mental health; and the widespread attention it would bring to the overall cause of mental health and wellness. If anyone has suggestions on a particular person or organization that may be interested in helping champion this effort, please let me know!
