Thank you friends, neighbors, art lovers, housing advocates and especially those whom I've never met in person. You are all awesome! I know that online petitions are a dime a dozen, but here is why this one different: 1) we will be able to tell a 'I Am Logan Square' that they are not representing our neighborhood well, despite their namesake and mission. 2) mass evicting people from the neighborhood and raising rents is not helping preserve economic and cultural diversity 3) artists are not tools for gentrification and the removal of art from a festival that is representative of our neighborhood is not cool 150 signatures in a couple days is amazing!
