To all who are impacted by the Short Hill facility that is proposed to go at the top of the mountain: Thank you for your support. Since Saturday we already have close to 200 supporters that care and are impacted in one way or another. I have a great deal of respect for those willing to share their opinions and add their voice to this. I hope that we can share our voice with the board of supervisors and AT&T and that voice can be heard loud and clear. For those who are wanting to do more there are a few simple things we can do: SHARE: 1. Let friends and neighbors in your neighborhood know about this egregious scar on our landscape and forward them this link to add their voice to the cause. Part of the problem was that a lot of people were not made aware. It'd be great for everyone to know about this and to allow for those who truly care add their voice. HELP RESEARCH 2. If you'd like to learn more and help in researching some of the facts and coming up with a well researched and investigated list of questions that we'd like to have answered before the board could approve we have a Facebook group. I'd like to keep this group to those who want to make an impact in a positive way but will add it as an open group for now. The group name is: Short Hill Rescue. We will post information about next meetings with information on when and how in advance so more people can be involved and in person. The beautiful thing about working on local issues is that we can look people in the eye and make our concerns known. My hope is that our concerns can come through and some change can occur from this.
