Students have reported waiting over an hour for their mail in the Fall 2018 semester at GCU. The student body has witnessed how the Mail Center line extends out of the building, forcing students to wait in 100+ degree weather. This is the result of the Mail Center being short staffed and its hours not accommodating the influx of students GCU has seen over the past 5 years.

Making the Mail Center open on Saturdays would provide GCU students with additional time to retrieve their mail. The result would be shorter wait time for mail, and would provide workers with more break opportunities during their shift than what they receive right now.
