The proposed 9 story development at Bayview and Soudan is much larger than is envisioned for the neighbourhood.  If approved it will be precedent setting and pave the way for future large scale developments remote to the Bayview and Eglinton intersection that is intended for mid-rise growth.  This will increase traffic, have significant impact on the surrounding neighbourhood, and serve to change Leaside for the worse.
