ANZAC march back on!

Well done everyone for speaking out regarding this issue. Our voices have been heard and the ANZAC march is back on, however will be on the 17th April, not on ANZAC day. Thank you RSL, Gawler Council and SAPOL. The following article is from The Bunyip: MARCHING ON IN a remarkable turnaround, the Gawler Anzac march will be going ahead as planned. A decision made today by RSL South Australia will see the march, with support from Gawler Council and South Australian Police, commence on Sunday, April 17 – as had initially been decided. Community discontent was evident over the weekend following the Gawler RSL sub branch's decision to cancel the parade, as reported in today's Bunyip, following miscommunication with SAPOL and Gawler Council. The march will form up in Tod Street at 1.30pm, before stepping off, and making its way to Pioneer Park, at 2pm. More details to come.
