Open Countryside in Penkridge -Overturn Bloor Homes Appeal Decision

The Issue

South Staffordshire District Council - Planning Application Ref: 17/01022/OUT

Secretary of State - Planning Appeal Ref: APP/C3430/W/18/3213147

With respect to the above we the undersigned, wish to object and call upon the Secretary of State and his inspector to reject this appeal decision for 200 houses and find in favour of the people of Penkridge and Staffordshire who do NOT wish this development to go ahead, for the many well documented reasons including the fact that Penkridge has met and exceeded housing targets for the next 5 years.

In addition we call upon, the Penkridge Parish Council and local Councillors, South Staffordshire Council and District Councillors and our MP’s Jeremy Lefroy and Gavin Williamson, to add their voice to this objection. Furthermore we ask the aforementioned to lobby the Secretary of State and inspector, to overturn this decision as we the undersigned consider this decision to be wrong in respect of the housing supply for Penkridge already being met and exceeded along with the open countryside regulations and SAD report that has already been signed off by the planning inspectorate.

I also give Aimi Hanlon, Kathryn Anstiss and Joanne Hammond authority to represent this appeal.
