California sending out another round of $600.00 stimulus checks this week

California is sending out another round of $600.00 stimulus checks this week to eligible Californians, but still nothing for SSDI or SSA recipients.  The first round of $600 checks were sent out around August 27th, 2021 worth around $354 million per the Franchise Tax Board which did not include SSDI or SSA recipients who could use it and need it the most.  Another $2 million in stimulus checks are due to be sent out around September 17, 2021 to more eligible Californians.

Governor Gavin Newsom stated that the extra money should help California residents who suffered financial difficulties during the pandemic to get back on their feet.  

What about SSDI and SSA recipients who do not file taxes, which include veterans and low-income residents who really could use this extra money and need it the most.

Everyone suffered during the pandemic and most continue to post pandemic, especially those who live on a fixed income.  Please continue to let your state Gov. know that no one should be left out of a states stimulus package just like no one was left out of the American Rescue Plan.
