Hi everyone, It's been a little while since you've heard from us but we're still very much pushing for this. In the meantime the campaign has been covered by The Spectator who point out that while house prices continue to rise beyond the reach of many young people renting will continue to be their only option. The Spectator's Lara Prendergast writes: 'When David Cameron became Tory leader, house prices were much lower than they are now. And while there was froth in the 1980s, Britain has never seen anything resembling the asset boom that exists today. The basic British dream – education, job, house, life – has been smashed for my generation.' With more young people than ever facing the prospect of renting throughout their twenties and into their thirties it's important that we rewrite the rules on renting so it can work for them.
