It is utterly disappointing that another landfill is coming up amidst of thickly populated area in Crossing Republik, Ghaziabad. 

4 years ago, it was in pursuit of this dream that me and my family shifted to Crossing Republik from Vaishali, Ghaziabad. The rotting mountain of waste in the Ghazipur landfill was impossible for us to live next to.

The poisonous gases made everyone sick, especially my 7 year old son.

But now here in Crossing Republik too, the government plans to set up a waste processing cum bio CNG plant in the area. The proposed plant will be very close to residential areas, putting those around it, under severe threat.
