This was a big week for us, as the petition was mentioned both in the Oiler fan blog Oilers Rig (http://www.theoilersrig.com/2016/07/domestic-violence-sexual-abuse-nhl/) and on the Ottawa radio show That's What She Said (relevant segment begins at the 23:30 mark: http://www.tsn.ca/radio/ottawa-1200/thats-what-she-said-july-29-2016-1.535366). I've also received dozens of letters from fans like you! I'm hoping to get even more before I send them to the teams, so I'm extending the deadline until end of the day tomorrow (Tuesday, August 2). Please take a moment to write a note to your favorite team telling them how you feel about sexual assault, domestic violence, and misogyny in hockey, and then send it to hockeypetition@gmail.com. Together we'll make sure the teams, like the NHL, can no longer pretend they don't know where we stand!
