Hi Friends, Thanks to your support, our petition has reached over 500 signatures. This is huge! So huge in fact, that the Change.org Campaigns team noticed the petition and reached out to offer their support. I’m reaching out to let you know that, with their advice, I’ve adjusted the text of the petition. The wording is slightly different now but the message is still the same: It’s long past time for the NHL to start taking violence against women seriously. We want the League to institute a zero tolerance policy for players who commit domestic violence or sexual assault. In order to get their attention, we need to spread the word about this ask. Will you share our petition on social media? Tweet about it: http://bit.ly/1LPHA9L Tell your Facebook friends: http://on.fb.me/1RKCBfB So far, the NHL’s image has remained relatively unscathed in spite of its terrible track record. But if enough people learn just how poorly they’ve handled allegations of violence against women, I believe the league will finally be forced to do something. Join me, and tell your community that this is #NotMyNHL. Sincerely, Melissa
