The sale of Ryton Organic Gardens must be halted.
The Trustees of Garden Organic are considering selling the site at Ryton Organic Gardens in Warwickshire UK for a housing development This site was acquired in the 1980s to be a focal point for organic gardening providing advice and inspiration to huge numbers of people in the UK and overseas.
The charity (formerly The Henry Doubleday Research Association HDRA) was founded by Lawrence Hills whose ashes rest there along with many others.
It is an iconic site that cannot be replicated.
