As great democratic institutions, they serve people of every age, income level, location, ethnicity, race, religion, and physical ability. Moreover, the Blasco Library serves the poorest zip code in the state and country.

GOOD PROJECT, WRONG LOCATION! We approve and applaud the development of Gannon's Great Lakes Research Center BUT NOT IN OUR PUBLIC LIBRARY! The mandate of a public library is to serve the general public's information needs rather than the needs of a particular school, institution, religion or research population. The PUBLIC should decide which programs are added to our Library! The University has its own space. Lots of it! KEEP OUR LIBRARY PUBLIC!
