Oh, the hypocrisy! Gannon hosted a lecture for the Jefferson Educational Society on "the decline of democracy" while allowing Brenton Davis and County Council to silence the members of the public who press for transparency on its sweetheart lease with Erie County for space at Blasco Library.

Please take the time to read the lease and read information and videos that are linked on the petition to understand why they are justifiably outraged by the actions of the Erie County Executive, five members of Erie County Council and the decision-makers of Gannon University.

Tell the Gannon administration to seek another location for Project NePTWNE and thereby honor the "public" in "public library," as well as Gannon University's stated mission and to be one of Erie County's most responsible citizens. We expect nothing less.
