The Issue

Respected madam,

Seven of the central government housing colonies based in south Delhi were notified for demolition/redevelopment. Occupants of these colonies received notice for compulsory time bound shifting to new locations.

NBCC/NGT were conducting surveys on how to protect trees and plants but nobody turned out for the innocent animals who have lived here all these years with and as a part of these occupants.

Most of the allottees have one bedroom accommodation and limited resources to run their family, still they had been providing timely food and shelter to these animals, who moved freely in these colonies with all the freedom and love.

Now things seems to be different,  allottees are moving to different places as per their govt  authorised allocation.

These animals are still playing around here not knowing their fate and destiny, coming days would mark no food, no shelter and no protection, unless someone intervenes and safeguard these animals.

This situation has arisen due to the demolition/redevelopment of this area and our inability to take them along with us to our new location.

Hoping for a positive action for the sake of these animals, who have stayed with us all theses years.

Thanking you,

with regards,
