*This petition is old and was made for fun when I was young. To any potential employers and or any people who know me by name, "Shaw Rentfrow"; please do not take this seriously. As in all honesty the grammar from my younger self is horrible. Thank you :)

Mario is the biggest gaming icon. Many people look up to him as a knight in shining armor. A man from the bottom as a plumber up to the challenge of protecting all that is good. Don't we all want to be that person? A person willing to fight for what is right no matter what the challenge? Everyday, kids, adults, people of all ages play Mario. People every day see what Mario does daily. To save a princess, to do what is right. Mario is a figure all gamers a like should look up to. A person who does what is right. Nintendo has always intended Mario to be the guy that does everything for the greater good. Though, if the idea that such a figure was tarnished as a mass murdering, selfish, evil thinking being. Then those kids would have no one to look up to. The idea that Mario is mental is both a false idea and a damaging idea. Over the past year Gametheory has made false lectures proposing Mario to be some sort of mental psychopath. When in fact, it is not true.

Is it right to see the biggest gaming icon for kids and adults alike to be seen as an evil tyrant with no factual evidence behind it? Is it not wrong to falsely accuse a hero of being a criminal? We control Mario, we are Mario, Mario’s adventure is our adventure. Mario is us. If we are wrongly accusing Mario of being mental, then wouldn't we wrongly be accusing ourselves of being mental?

Over the last year, I have tried to contact Gametheory for them to view my proof, though I have been far from successful. When you sign this petition, it will show the love and respect the gaming's biggest icon deserves. Mario is not mental,  there is proof against it and I need your help to get my evidence out to game theory. By signing this petition, we can have a loud enough voice to show Game theory and the world that Mario is not a mental psychopath. I wish for Gametheory to view my evidence and to show the viewers and the world why kids and adults a like can look up to Mario as their hero once again.
