*Tipping Point (Gratitude to Petitioners)
We've reached a point at which a series of small changes over the time has now become significant enough to cause a larger, more important change. Thank you each and every one of you for coming together in this fight against this shady tactic intended to turn a loyal fan base against cheap labour. Even if we are ignored, we asphalters will remember than we tried and failed, failure is an old friend.
*Culprit (Who's to Blame?)
(Elephant in the room)
Ever since the new update was announced in November before its roll out. We were introduced to many new ideas that we should be expecting and excited about.
Such as the Drive Syndicate, Rush 2.0, Legendary Car Hunt, more tokens and credits, blueprints, keys for previous GP and other non garage cars and much more.
All these updates were conveyed to us and in a very puzzling manner.
O_o Drive Syndicate - But you can't complete it without paying up!
o_O Rush 2.0 - More rewards but will eat up almost all day.
O_O Legendary Car Hunt - But only for Legend pass holders.
0_0 More tokens and credits - But weekly rewards will be changed
etc., etc., U get the idea.
All these were conveyed to us in official A9 threads.
Yet, ambiguously.
But this was no surprise to us.
We asphalters know that every new change has it's own twist and traps.
*So should we ask for any more new changes? (I dare not!)*
It's hard to understand who's pushed this decision to increase the milestones. But, it's better to shoot oneself in the foot than laying up trouble for oneself by asking for new changes.
On the contrary, any further new updates should either be completely understood or downvoted for the best.
(For the ocean, a whale is still a small fish)
What many of us still dont understand is as long as there's a minority that keeps paying for all the bundles, all special events and the drive syndicate packs. Gameloft will earn money, and therefore with such a big gain coming from 1% of the players, Gameloft is not interested in the majority, cause the majority doesnt pay much.
*And with this current mp reward system. Are the whales profiting?*
There's still ~5k milestones per day to complete it all and being at the top is useless because there are no rewards. So, the whales and ants are now the same.
(Ants are good citizens)
Before releasing every update A9 team conducts a dev chat. In the previous dev chat people have actually voted for the mp rewards system to be like they are today. Other Players has pointed it out many times in the general chat. Dare I say that the blame (right or wrong) also points to us. We have brought this upon ourselves.
*So what can we do to make it right?*
Devs dont see past votes. Even if they do it'll be ignored. So no point downvoting the old posts.
The right way to do it not to blindly upvote. Make your vote count. Better to be vigilant than being sorry.
(Our Good Samaritans)
Almost no video exist on youtube that critics the upcoming updates. Many of us always turn up to fellow Youtubers for something that we dont understand. Is it too much to ask to make 1 video every season that censures the upcoming updates. It's still good content.
*Last Stand
Since we have got ourselves into this puddle and there's no definite date to when changes will take place. It is quite obvious that the rewards are set so high in order to keep you online in the game. A game should be played for fun and should'nt be a job. One good solution to this is to avoid playing this multiplayer format at all. The fun in multiplayer is to play against other racers. If there are fewer players playing this multiplayer Gameloft will get our position. Even if they don't it'll save you the stress, the hassle and the exhaustion. Take it easy on yourself!
I would wish that other gaming giants like Rockstar, Sony Entertainment, Santa Monica Studios make a competitive arcade racing game just like asphalt but more free to play.
If you've reached end of this update. Please acknowledge me on A9 official discord @vultur_ous. As I will be busy reaching as many people as I can to sign this petition.
I hope we make a difference.
