One of Dr. Rodger’s supervisors emailed me to say that the date on which the board will take action is incorrect, contradicting the meeting agenda. However, they have not specified the correct date yet and have only said they will get back to me. Regardless, public comment on any issue is allowed at every meeting. I will send another update soon regarding our plan of action.  

Additionally, our Union Building Committee is advocating to prevent the non-renewal of Assistant Principal Jacob Reid. Mr. Reid has revitalized and stabilized our SPED department and services. As a father of a child with special needs, he has applied his personal experience to managing the department, significantly improving the school’s responsiveness to student needs. Removing Jacob Reid would throw our SPED department back into disarray.
