I had a meeting Thursday with Shona and the William Frasier Centre which I flew over for. We challenged them on the bruising on Megan which is not consistent with restraints. They tried saying that she came into the unit like that after being restrained by the police, which is not true.
The windows of the centre were covered with frosted paper hours after the protest meaning no one can see in, or out, why?
We were also told that Megan was again restrained by staff on Wednesday as she would not hand over her phones. They have hurt her head and knees.
They have stated that Shona will be allowed to see Megan through supervised video link only. Shona is not a risk to Megan in any way. She is however, allowed to bring in Megan's chosen foods. But not see her face to face. If Shona is a risk to Megan why was she allowed to stand at a window at the protest with Megan for four hours with none of the staff even coming to ask once if Megan was OK?
What they are doing is heartbreaking.
To answer questions we have been asked, yes there are talks with an MP. Yes Megan has a solicitor.
We are not able to say anything further at this time as we do not want to jeopardise anything going on behind the scenes.
