So admittedly I haven't been keeping up on my thread as much lately. Life, and just generally playing or doing other things on not Steam have made my replies slow. And any time I have been on Steam, it's only been for a little bit or multiplayer with somebody so I didn't have time to reply.
That being said, it being locked because it's been a while since I replied? Seems really odd. Someone literally responded the same day right before they locked the thread, so clearly it had engagement still (thanks again to everybody who kept that thread alive for like 5 years!). Even more confusing and ridiculous in my opinion is that they said it's being locked to "prevent confusion". What does that even mean? Confusion on why Steam still hasn't fixed this oversight? Confusion on why it existed in the first place? Because it can't be confusion on it's existence, as that hasn't been resolved as far as I am aware. So very much not a fan of that decision, and would love if I could repeal this locking.
Not to berate this Katie too much, but this leaves an especially sour taste in my mouth considering I went 5 years without so much as a singular reply/comment by official Valve staff. Only for the first one I receive to be my thread, on a current issue, with current engagement, being locked for an asinine reason.
So I guess this discussion will only take place on Reddit from now on, as that is still up as of currently.
Thanks again to everybody that has shared and commented on that thread to keep this issue being seen! Really appreciate everyone's commitment to maintaining engagement. Sucks that this is how Valve chose to act. Quite disappointing.
