This petition started with a handful of fed-up passengers. Today it has 1,000 names on it, and every one of them makes it harder for the Government and TfL to keep saying nothing.

Please keep sharing it. Send it to one person who uses the line, post it in your street or school WhatsApp group, put it on your building's noticeboard. 1,000 is the start. Next stop 2,000 🙏

We're holding a peaceful demonstration outside Wimbledon station to demand improvements to our temperamental District line.

• Thursday 17 September, 4pm to 7pm
• On the pavement outside Wimbledon station
• Group photograph at 6pm for the press. If you can only make twenty minutes, make it those twenty
• Family-friendly. Everyone welcome, especially demo first-timers and the teenagers who are hit hardest by this line
