Thank you all for your support as I called attention to the issues with the mail-in ballot system in Georgia.

I apologize for not updating sooner, as I've been up to my neck in work and grad school applications.

I am so pleased to share that the Georgia Board of Elections has updated their mail-in ballot system. If you utilized this system for the Georgia run-off election, you've likely noticed the subtle, but helpful changes.

Firstly, those who requested mail-in ballots were sent a notification once their request had been received and had been mailed; one of the biggest issues was the lack of communication. Additionally, they sent out text notifications once the ballot was counted. This to me is HUGE, because it means that they went through the steps to make the system more clear and easier to track.

I hope that these improvements will be in place for future elections!
