Need more signers b4 County Commission discusses Dev Auth on Weds.

Fulton County Commission meets Wednesday with the DAFC scandal on the agenda. But the Commissioners' main power is to appoint DAFC's board.  Then DAFC makes up its own rules.

For example, County Code says DAFC must use the County Attorney's office and not outside lawyers.  Well, DAFC has paid a bundle to an outside firm for years! 

Given DAFC's autonomy,it's vital for Robb Pitts to appoint someone good to DAFC's board - in place of a guy who's been part of the bad old way for 12 years.  With other new board members, he or she could stop DAFC's rogue behavior.

The Commission should insist that all new board members - including the nominee described in the article below - pledge not to support tax breaks if opposed by city or school boards whose taxes would be reduced.

Please urge friends and neighbors to sign the petition before Wednesday morning, so we can tell Chairman Pitts that hundreds of voters are expecting him to act.
