C.I.A.'s Operation CHAOS

The Central Intelligence Agency has conducted a vast network of unlawful or uncontrolled domestic operations that resulted in the creation of files on 300,000 individuals and organizations, mail openings, wiretapping, room bugging, burglaries, extensive “monitoring” of overseas telephone calls, secret drug testing and infiltration of American political groups, according to the report of the Rockefeller commission, released today, June 11, 1975.
