Their is a concern growing about the lack of behavioral/mental health workers. Most agencies contacted for behavioral and mental health services place potential clients on a waiting list. Providing service for individuals who struggle with behavioral and mental health concerns is not a skill done for financial gain. It takes heart and passion to support others on the journey to positive behavioral and mental health. The lack of an ability to take a personal or sick day off with pay for these worker increase the possibility for burnout.

Let's keep pushing to get this behavioral/mental health workers the required salary and benefits to keep supporting others!
