What's Up With The Judges?
The Judiciary Is Taking to the Road. Why Now?
For generations, judges rarely left the courtroom to publicly defend the judicial system. That is changing.
A nationwide "Justice in Motion" tour is now underway, with judges traveling the country to discuss public confidence in the courts and the importance of judicial independence. The organizers say they are responding to declining trust in the judiciary.

Whether you agree with their message or not, one thing is clear: This is not ordinary.
Similar public outreach efforts have occurred in Poland during a period of intense public debate over the judiciary. Now, judges in the United States are undertaking their own campaign to speak directly to the public.
That raises an important question:
Why does the judiciary believe it must now campaign for public confidence?
At FDA, we have always believed that truth and transparency strengthen institutions—not weaken them.
If public confidence in the courts is declining, the solution is not less scrutiny. It is more transparency. It is more accountability. It is more public examination. Trust is not created by public relations.
Trust is earned through consistent conduct, equal application of the law, and institutions that are willing to be examined by the people they serve.
We are not asking anyone to accept our conclusions. We are asking everyone to start asking better questions.
• Why is this campaign happening now?
• What has changed?
• Should public confidence be requested, or earned?
• How can citizens independently evaluate whether our institutions deserve their trust?
These are questions every American should consider.
This is exactly why the FDA exists.
Our mission has always been truth, transparency, accountability, and empowering ordinary citizens to examine the facts for themselves.
People ask me all the time:
"What is the Full Disclosure Act actually going to do?"
"How could it ever get passed?"
"How would it ever be enforced?"
My answer is simple.
It works every time you share it.
Ideas spread before laws change. Public awareness comes before reform. Every conversation, every email, every social media post, and every person who starts asking questions moves the idea forward. Whether or not you agree with every aspect of the Full Disclosure Act, the principles of truth, transparency, and accountability become stronger each time they are discussed.
If you've been following quietly, now is the time to become involved. We need people willing to ask questions. We need people willing to examine the evidence. We need people willing to share information with friends and family.
