Good evening and blessings to everyone. First we simply want to thank you for your continuing support and awesome love shown during the March 31st DDOT Bikelane Workshop for Taylor Street NE. During the meeting a survey was provided by DDOT. If you were unable to attend or you were unable to complete the survey please use this link for the survey: https://bikelanes.ddot.dc.gov/pages/taylor-street-ne. On the first page click on "provide comments by 4/30/2026" Scroll down there a 3 quick questions.
- The first question asks How often do you travel to or through this corridor? (select one) Frequently, Occasionally, Rarely, Never
- The second question asks What modes do you use to travel through the corridor (select all that apply) Drive, bicycle, walk, Metrorail, scooter, bus, TNC (Uber, Lyft, taxi, etc), other.
- The third question - asks Which of the proposed 14th to South Dakota Ave concepts do you like the most?
- Please note this question only applies to the 1500 & 1600 Block of Taylor Street NE.
- Also note A & C remove parking, and B is an expanded sidewalk that removes part of the front lawn but keeps parking for an 18' pedestrian path and bikeway.
- If “I prefer no changes” is selected. This means none of the 3 concepts are wanted.
See comment section to add additional verbiage. You can recommend alternative routes such as connecting a bikeway from Fort Totten Metro to the Fort Circle parks. A pedestrian path project from the the Fort Totten Metro connecting the parks has been initiated.
Thanks again for your support!
