I appreciate the resurgence of support for this cause after the last round of retaliation and discrimination against Coach Lopez. That incident demonstrates how real the need is for real corrective action. It also of note Principal Smith had never met or spoken to Coach Lopez prior to that interview. Her opinion(s) were based on second information, most likely outright lies. I should have known Principal Smith would act in this way when she refused to meet with my husband regarding the situation several months ago.

A reminder to FUSD - Ignoring this will not make it go away. The continued retaliation and discrimination in this situation confirms EVERYTHING communicated when it first happened. FUSD can not spin the narrative to justify poor decisions like they have with all of the other incidents. The examples how that has been spun will be posted in the coming updates. Our advocate meeting is on Monday at 5:00p.m. A more aggressive and open approach will be explored. This has gone on long enough. This has caused way to many mental health issue's to all involved. This has costed too much money. It is clear FUSD will not make corrections until forced. 

FUSD MUST MAKE CHANGES TO ENSURE OUR KIDS ARE PRIORITZED, NOT MARGINALIZED. AT THIS POINT IT'S CLEAR FUSD IS MAKING THE CHOICE NOT TO CORRECT. Elected officials and district leadership are at fault. They have had enough time to make the needed corrections. Actions speak loudly.
