School is officially out for Summer and there is no better time to be heard. We are currently organizing the stories of the people impacted by this. First up will be Mercedes Ruiz. The parent who brought it to the district attention that Coach Vinuela left kids in Santa Cruz. The same parent who filed formal complaints when Coach Knutson made it clear "mornings are for masters". Again the district lied and covered up. The plan is to start releasing these stories as we verify the information is correct. There are so many that they will be shared through the Fall. These stories share the same patterns of manipulation and gaslighting, a major ingredient to the toxic FUSD environment. The stories will be repurposed to campaign for a new FHS board member. The faces that he ignored, not just their names on paper.
A huge thank you to those who have written the board requesting this be added to the next board meeting agenda. There hasn't been a response yet. Please continue to write the board. Each voter in the household should send a separate email, just like their vote would be separate. I have included the email template at the bottom.
I do know Coach Lopez met with the FUSD attorney yesterday, but she did not feel it would go anywhere. She said it felt it was a meeting to assess the liability this situation brings to FUSD, not solutions to prioritize kids. Quick fixes, not systemic change. We have heard of the risk formula used to influence the districts decisions in all legal matters. Adding it to the long list of systems in place that do not prioritize kids or take responsibility.

Dear Ms. Wittrup and Ms. Her,
I am writing today to request the FHS regular and offseason situation be formally added to the June 12th board meeting agenda during the open portion of the meeting. We would like to openly advocate for the needed corrective action to make the children of the FHS region the priority in this situation. Adding this to the board agenda would give constituents another chance to obtain the corrective action our children deserve.
I appreciate your consideration of this very important issue.
Thank you,
