Dear friends and neighbors,

We did it!  With the 9/10 vote by the Fremont City Council, we have achieved our goal of keeping the Fremont Homeless/Housing Navigation Center (HNC) away from Fremont residential neighborhoods and putting it at city hall where the homeless can get better support.  Our goals would not be met if not for the persistent work of hundreds of volunteers who organized our community, conducted extensive research on every aspect of the HNC, informed the public via social media and worked with city council and staff to influence the outcome.  Furthermore, we succeeded because of thousands of community members like you who signed our petition and attended city council meetings and workshops in force.  Thank you.

While the site of the HNC has been selected, much details still must be worked out.  We will keep you informed on the latest developments of the project.  Please stay in touch.
