UPDATE #5: In our last update we expressed our love and deep gratitude to John Abraham for amplifying our Shankar campaign, given his BIG heart for all God’s creatures. His fans have also kept us feeling super loved and some have even gone the extra mile by providing creative support to us, pro bono. And of course JA blogger Venetia Sarll always has a ‘special wish’ for Shankar in her blog that we LOVE. What an incredibly rocking family to have. So thank you all!

In the last few days we had a few more celebrity voices raise the pitch of our call for Shankar’s release from the Delhi Zoo. Manoj Bajpayee retweeted a video of Shankar’s stereotypic behaviour and brought the attention of his fans to Shankar's plight. This really helped our campaign get an upswing so thank you. You are a hero on screen and off for all of us including poor Shankar. We also had Rahul Khanna and Sushant Singh sign our petition showing their extra kind hearts to us and by sharing the petition with their fan base they put a smile on Shankar's face for sure. 

We now have almost 40,000 signatures and these Bollywood personalities have had a lot to do with it! SO A BIG THANK YOU for being the voice of the voiceless (but not friendless any more) Shankar!
