こんばんは。広島パレスチナともしび連帯共同体（Hiroshima-Palestine Vigil Community）です。
昨日の署名立ち上げから一日あまりが経過しましたが、早くも4000人を超える方々にご賛同いただいております（5/7 21:00現在 4,257人）。ご署名いただいたみなさま、ありがとうございます！
昨日、署名開始と同時に広島原爆ドーム前で記者会見を行いました。Vigilに集まった一人ひとりから、署名への思いをお話ししました。その様子はインスタグラムからご覧いただけます。
写真にも写っている通り、昨日はパレスチナのコミュニティのみなさんにも参加いただきました。記者会見後スタンディングを続けていると、「I’m Palestinian!」と声をかけてくださり、一緒に立ってくれました。みなさんは今カナダ・オタワを拠点とするAPACという団体をリードし、#freepalestine を訴えています。彼らのアクションは本当に美しく、力強いです。私たちはオタワ大学の学生を支持しています！彼らと原爆ドーム前で出会い、言葉を交わせたことは素晴らしい経験でした。
最後に、広島でのアクションにはなりますが、お知らせがあります。
明日5/8(水) 午後5時から6時半ごろ、本通り交差点（洋服の青山前）にて、岸田首相にラファ侵攻に反対の声を上げることを求める抗議アクションを行います。みなさんの最大の声を持ち寄ってください！Vigilは通常通り午後6時-7:30、原爆ドーム前にて行います。
今日でガザへの侵攻が始まって7ヶ月。
私たちの声を最大限に使って、ラファ侵攻を止めましょう。

Good evening. We are the Hiroshima-Palestine Vigil Community.
It has been a little over a day since we launched the petition yesterday, and we have already received 4,257 signatures (as of 9:00pm on May 7). Thank you so much for signing the petition!
Yesterday, we held a press conference in front of the Atomic Bomb Dome at the same time we started signing the petition, and the participants who gathered at Vigil shared their thoughts on the campaign. You can see the video of the press conference on our Instagram.
As you can see in the photo, we were joined by a Palestinian community. As we continued standing after the press conference, one of them called out "I'm Palestinian!" and stood with us. They are members of APAC @apaccanada, an Ottawa-based organization that voices #freepalstine. Their actions are truly beautiful and powerful. We support the students of the University of Ottawa! It was very inspiring to meet them in front of the A-Bomb Dome and exchange words with them.
Finally, we have an announcement (this is an action in Hiroshima).
Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 8, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, we will hold a protest action at the Hondori intersection (in front of Yofuku-no-Aoyama) to demand that Prime Minister Kishida raise his voice against the Rafah invasion. Please bring your biggest voice! The Vigil will be held as usual in front of the Atomic Bomb Dome from 6:00pm-7:30pm.
Today marks 7 months since the invasion of Gaza began.
Let's use our voices to the fullest to stop the worst brutality.
