We're so grateful to them all, but we also know it shouldn't have to come to this. It shouldn't take media coverage and public pressure to help secure Ali's freedom. Because the Department of Immigration could ensure freedom for Ali with a click of mouse or a stroke of a pen.
Ali came to this country, fleeing for his life. In the eight years that have passed, he has not know peace, safety, or security. But today, he feels supported thanks to your 17,000+ signatures.
