So a friend of mine is organizing multiple film & music festivals in remembrance of his son.he was shot and killed in a home invasion,he was trying to help someone in trouble knocked on his door and as soon as he opened it they shot and killed a young adult taking from this earth way to soon and by a crime of ignorance..This is to show and keep his memory alive he was a big music lover that's why David decided to host his own festival because it is always what his son wanted and loved dearly..We paid for Permit from the Township in July 2024 and had 2 million dollar insurance policy and when we had everything green lit and everything was legit and legal we got a letter from an attorney explaining to us we are not allowed to promote,advertise or sell concert tickets being restricted and held from doing anything with our event..basically we were told we have to pay $2 dollars for every patron upon entry and if we did anything without the linesville township giving us the green light and the okay to do so we would be fined and face lidigation issues...Were we robbed out of having our wonderful event and our names were slandered as well as Defamation of character...I do believe we were victims of extortion and not allowed to have freedom of assembly or a gathering after we paid for the insurance and permit...so basically they linesville township went and contacted every person involved in helping us told them to not serve us..mainly we were held by a catch 22 situation and we were taken advantage of not only our reputation but both our names were drug threw the mud and made us look like public nuisances reflecting our great outstanding in the film and music industry...made hundreds of bands ,artists drop off of our festival due to all the lies,deception and misleading unfalse information about us.
