What do you think about renaming the Wellington Street section in front of the Parliament in Ottawa, Canada as “Freedom Convoy – Freedom Convoy 2022” to remember this patriotic, peaceful and historic gathering?
 

This international English and French petition seeks to ask the City of Ottawa to consider the feasibility of changing the name of the section of Wellington Street between Elgin and O'Connor Street on the front of the Parliament of Ottawa for “FREEDOM CONVOY –Convoi de la Liberté 2022”?


Remember this dark pandemic period when Canadians were discriminated against, rejected, humiliated because of their vaccination status due to the decisions that some people consider irrational by the Canadian government. How is it possible that in 2022, the unacceptable was accepted by a part of Canadians? 1 in 4 Canadians, according to a survey, agreed with prison for those who were not vaccinated.
This state of siege from January 29 to February 21, 2022 brought together the French and the English, from the people of the First Nations to the different cultures present. With exemplary and supportive behaviour, the patriots present contributed at that precise moment to the birth of a new Canadian patriotism.

So we ask the City of Ottawa, Canada 🍁 to pay attention to our request for a change of name for the section of Wellington Street opposite the parliament for Freedom Convoy 2022.
