Yesterday people from Boston, New York, and New Jersey gathered in New York City to protest the imprisonment of Professor GN Saibaba and the suppression in dissent in India. This is the first time supporters in the US have taken their protest to the Indian state's diplomatic offices. It sent a clear message to the Indian government that people in the US are aware of the suppression of democratic rights in India, and will stand in opposition!
