Today we are formally declaring victory in our campaign to get Peter Jouvenal home to his friends and family. To mark this, Peter has kindly given an interview of thanks to you all, from his garden in rural England, kindly filmed by my campaign parter Richard Parry. I can assure you all that the petition was very impactful, and have been told that it was watched closely by both those holding Peter, and those working to get him out. This week, I have been able to spend some time with Peter and his wife Hassina, and it is as if a great weight has been lifted. I said to Peter, when we broke bread the other night, that throughout his ordeal, Hassina and I always promised ourselves a celebration when he got out, and that sometimes in life, dreams do come true. So I thank all of you wonderful people for helping us achieve the exact outcome we wanted. Salutations!!!
