There are only 3 days left to convince the Danish government not to extradite captain Paul Watson to Japan! As most of you know, the Danish ministry of justice will make their decision on August 15th, this Thursday. That means it is time for one final, huge push to gather maximum support for the captain. Please anyone who has the means, sharing my petition to social media is amazing for gathering more signatures, don’t forget to ask people to reshare if you do. Donating to the petition through the promote feature on change.org is even more effective at gathering signatures, so if you are able to do so, even just a few dollars can help gather dozens of supporters, who can in turn share and/or donate to the petition themselves, thus the snowball effect. 

     I will also once again urge you to visit the link to the campaign on chilli.club below, in order to participate in more actions to #freepaulwatson, such as emailing members of Danish parliaments, and asking for celebrity support for the captain. Protests have and are being held worldwide in support of this great man. Captain Paul Watson has dedicated his entire life to saving the oceans, risking it multiple times, during the campaign to stop Japanese whaling in the southern whale sanctuary, he was shot at with real bullets, his ship was destroyed by the whalers, injuring many of his crew, and yet HE is the one facing charges. He is charged with assault because 2 of the whalers tried to pepper spray him, but the wind blew it back in their faces. This is just one completely absurd accusation of the many. It is shameful that a cofounder of Greenpeace, founder of Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, two of the most successful environmental organizations in history, can be arrested by a nation that prides themselves on their environmental sustainability. If Denmark wants to maintain that image, it would be in their best interest to release captain Paul Watson now. He is an ecological hero, and deserves nothing but congratulations and thanks for doing the work that needs to be done, but very few are willing to do. Thank you for your support, this will be my last update until his fate is decided, I pray that Denmark makes the right choice.
