My dad is free! Thank you all!

MY DAD IS FREE
After 9 months of illegal detention in pre-trial detention centers in Moscow, my dad Misha was released a month ago, on January 17, the verdict came into force on February 2, and his criminal record was canceled.
I could not announce it right away in January: we were afraid of an appeal or a new unlawful criminal prosecution of my daf by the FSB while he was on the territory of the Russian Federation, so we kept it secret. But everything worked out.
This miracle is possible thanks to the father's lawyers, Dmitry Zakhvatov and Svetlana Baiturina. At the suggestion of the prosecutor (!) and the decision of the judge, my dad was released in the courtroom as his "crime" had expired. After his release, dad was on the list of extremists and terrorists of the Russian Federation of Rosfinmonitoring for another month, which is tantamount to civil death, with the blocking of all accounts and real estate - you can read for yourself what restrictions such a status imposes. Thank God, on February 14, dad was excluded from the list of extremists and terrorists, and on February 20, dad successfully left the territory of the Russian Federation.
At the moment, dad found a job in his specialty and temporary housing in another country. In the future, dad will be able to move to Canada with me and apply for political asylum - for this, he has two grounds out of five possible and all the supporting documents.
During my father's imprisonment, our family spent at least 700 thousand rubles (10k USD) on his maintenance in prison and legal assistance and collected all statements on expenses/transactions.
In addition, we spent about 200-300 thousand rubles (3-4k USD) on medicines and transfers, but it is difficult to restore statements for these expenses. In general, spending 9 months in a prison in the Russian Federation with private legal assistance costs about a million rubles. During the collections organized by the First Department, we managed to raise 435 thousand rubles (6k USD), which allowed us to cover about half of all expenses for helping dad. We are very grateful to all those who are not indifferent - we managed to save dad! I thank everyone who directly or indirectly helped dad and our family during these 9 months.
In the bottom line, the dad’s case was used for Russian propaganda stories and probing the soil of the Russian audience of a zombie-maker on the topic of “Ukrainian-Jewish Nazis” in Ukraine and “traitors” in Russian society, and dad spent 9 months behind bars with real criminals without guilt from for his nationality and views. My dad has been released, but there are currently 530 political prisoners in the Russian Federation, 120 of them are being prosecuted for their open anti-war stance, and they still suffer from wrongful imprisonment. They need help and letters of support. Alexei Navalny is being tortured right now, and Alexei Gorinov is being killed in prison. Let's remember these people and do what little we can to free them. I hug everyone who is not indifferent P.S. Dad has his birthday on March 9 - you can congratulate him! At the beginning of this year, he was preparing to spend the rest of his life in a Russian prison, but now he has two birthdays in freedom Soon I will post how this miracle was realized and what factors influenced the release of my dad.
