Our hearts are heavy as today is Nasim’s 30th birthday , and he’ll be entering his 30’s in prison after having spent most of his 20’s locked up for a crime he is innocent of . The conditions in TDCJ are absolutely horrifying right now , first with the heatwaves that ravaged Texas over the summer , and now all the facilities are on lockdown . This man has been through so much , and he has to spend yet another birthday alone in a place where he wasn’t supposed to be in the first place .
