We just wanted to reach out and thank everyone for their support. We are so grateful for everyone who has signed the petition and donated. Without you we could not make this campaign work.

Joe will be talking at the United States Capitol next week at the Transatlantic Conference on Hostage-Taking and Arbitrary Detention. We hope to be able to rally support from the US who do much more for their hostages than in the UK. His appearance on 12 March comes as Lindsay and Craig enter their fourteenth month of arbitrary detention, now in the middle of an active war zone.

The situation inside the Prison is not great as you can probably imagine. The guards are gradually being replaced by armed police but they are still there at the moment and we do get a few snatched calls from them so we know they are still ok.

We are not really sure what is happening about their appeal. Lindsay and Craig’s state appointed lawyer has left the country, and the family has no clarity on whether their appeal was even successfully received before court systems shut down.

Despite the escalating danger, the United Kingdom government has still not formally recognised that Lindsay and Craig Foreman are being held arbitrarily and we think this is important as it will mean they get more prioritisation.
