Last week FOTO Malaysia personally handed the two petitions for Lasah to the head of the Peninsular Malaysia wildlife department and the head of the Corporate Communications Unit at the environment ministry of Malaysia. Petitions were submitted to the prime minister's department late last year. Thank you to everyone who helped us reach over 400,000 signatures for both petitions. During our discussion with both parties above we reiterated our demand that Lasah be transferred to the Kuala Gandah elephant sanctuary. In the meantime our campaign continues.
Right now need more supporters like yourself to write to the environment ministry of Malaysia to keep up the pressure. You can also write again if you have done so previously as we need to keep the pressure up on the government. Please see the link below for help:
