As dawn breaks on July 3rd, Julian Assange will wake to his 52nd birthday and his 11th without his freedom.

Over the last long and lonely decade - Julian has been deprived of the comfort of his loved ones, the warmth of the sun on his face, and the simple yet priceless freedom to walk where his feet might take him. This is a bitter terrible pain on any day, but especially on his birthday, a day meant to be filled with joy and celebration, not confinement and solitude.

Will you take a moment today to send Julian a short note to celebrate his birthday?

Your message doesn't have to be long or elaborate. A simple wish, a kind word, or an expression of empathy can go a long way. In these difficult times, a small gesture like this can mean the world to someone.
