Remembering of course that the Prime Minister of Australia is a Signatory to this petition. The Prime Minister of Australia signed this petition on his first day as Prime Minister (Click Here to see ABC report re-confirming this). As this petition is to compel the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister to make senior ministerial representations to their counterparts in the USA and British governments to free Julian Assange. It is important to understand that the Australian Labor Party is practicing "quiet diplomacy" with the USA and Britain to free Julian Assange ("Enough is Enough..this case has gone on long enough and we see no reason to keep Julian Assange incarcerated") is the public statement of the Australian Government.

All signatories of this petition that have been made aware that the Prime Minister of Australia Mr Anthony Albanese is now a Signatory to this petition as of 23-5-2022 have universally responded with approval. The Prime Minister of Australia is now part of our team in this petition.  I must say that, this expression of approval has been regardless of their own political persuasion (as I perceived the responses myself). Signatories in general do understand that the Australian Government does have a right to negotiate the matter of freedom of Julian Assange in the best way they see to secure his freedom. On this point that does not mean that we as signatories, individually or universally support the way the Australian Government is working this matter. 

Now that we confirm that the Prime Minister of Australia is one of us and together with all of our collective 731,000 Signatories to this petition we will together move forward with direct representations to the responsible Public Officers in both the USA and Britain. This petition has justification to do this as (from my estimated understanding) over 250,000 signatories of this petition reside in USA and or Britain.

This petition's representation will be independent and separate to the "Quiet Diplomacy" being conducted by the Australian Government. We do not intend to work against any action being taken in different ways by any individual Signatory, we will move forward in a peaceful, harmonious and inclusive manner.

Rest assured this petition has justification and validation by its sheer numbers and also through the passage of time since its inception on July 11, 2018. At every step this petition has been securing ground, in a methodical and diligent manner, adhering to peaceful, democratic norms and protocols. On this point we will continue to do so, we are just going to do it in a much more direct manner.

TO NOT BE DIRECT AND FORCEFUL WOULD BE TO FALL SHORT OF OUR ULTIMATE GOAL. STOP THE USA EXTRADITION & FREE JULIAN ASSANGE.
