Prime Minister of Australia (Designate)
Petition To: The Hon. Penny Wong, Senator
Minister for Women & Foreign Affairs (Designate)
Petition To: Chief Prosecutor Mr Karim Asad Ahmad Khan International Criminal Court: The Hague
Petition To: Deputy Prosecutor Mr James Stewart International Criminal Court: The Hague
On behalf of 711,000 signatories in the largest petition in history to have been tabled in both houses of the Australian Parliament, I wish to congratulate Mr Anthony Albanese and the Australian Labor Party for its victory in the Australian federal election on May 21, 2022. This petition’s designated serving is to the Prime Minister + Foreign Minister of Australia and the Chief Prosecutor + Deputy Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court. Mr Anthony Albanese and Ms Penny Wong are now served with Petition Notice 43. Facts: This case is no longer in court & now rests on political decision-making.
Anthony Albanese Prime Minister of Australia, you have met with Julian Assange’s father and you apparently know this case well. This petitioned action also has a strong support base from within your own Labor Party. I wish to thank all parliamentarians from across the political spectrum in Australia that help form the backbone of our Bring Assange Home Parliamentary Group. We understand the extradition of Julian Assange will set a dangerous precedent for all Australians travelling abroad as well as damaging press freedom and democracy. We want Julian’s life saved and Julian to be freed.
“Enough is enough, we don’t see what purpose the continued incarceration of Julian Assange achieves” (Anthony Albanese), please speak your own words to your USA and British counterparts.
Mr Albanese and Ms Wong plan to meet Mr Biden at the Quad Leaders Summit this week: This petition serves notice to speak with your USA counterpart/s and request that the USA immediately drop the extradition case against Julian Assange. Julian Assange must be immediately freed and permitted to return to Australia or any other country he wishes to travel to without hinderance and or persecution. Julian Assange is a dad, a son, a husband, an Australian Citizen. Julian Assange is a journalist that published in the public interest and is being imprisoned and psychologically tortured because he published in the public interest. Free Julian Assange and uphold Australian sovereignty. Free Julian Assange to protect press freedom and save democracy. Free Julian Assange and save his life.
STOP THE TORTURING of JULIAN ASSANGE & FREE JULIAN ASSANGE.
Yours Faithfully,
Phillip Adams
