It is important to understand that a petition is the only way a citizen can place their grievances before the Australian Parliament and has been of Australian Citizens since Federation in 1901. It is part of the fabric of Australian Democracy.

This petition has been tabled in both houses of parliament and is the largest in history to have done so. In addition this global petition has as its 3 rd and 4th Designates the Chief Prosecutor of the International Court(ICC) (The Hague) as well as the Deputy Chief Prosecutor.
