One more step in the right direction.
This petition in the hands of brave Parliamentarians who met with the Australian Dept. of foreign Affairs and Trade personnel on Thursday 21st Feb. 2019, once again helped in securing another step in the pathway to freedom for Julian Assange.
I can confirm we were in discussion on the evening of Feb. 19, 2019 with support staff to a Senator to whom all of our signatures have now been delivered. I can confirm that I gave the go ahead to Senator to use our petition to apply pressure in parliamentary processes. I can confirm in February , 2019 and prior to the DFAT session on Feb. 21. a 1,373 page Petition document containing all our signatures had been delivered to Parliamentarian's who are now working towards our intended target,
We should all be very satisfied with what we are all achieving together in this struggle to Free Julian Assange. We now have the petition where we want it. In Parliament and applying positive pressure to departmental executives.
This petition will not be closed till Julian Assange is free.
The database of all our signatures was requested by myself from "Change". org in san Francisco: Why? because we were attempting to Table the Petition in the Senate, in the week commencing Feb. 11, 2019. But our Tabling attempt in the Australian Senate was blocked out by political "gamery" on Feb. 12, 2019. Now we are redirecting the petition to apply direct pressure to Departmental executives to deliver on a pathway towards Freedom for Julian Assange.
This petition will never rest or stop applying pressure until Julian Assange is Free.
Freedom for Julian Assange is still not secured, but he can not travel without a Passport and at least we have that publicly secured now.
