Aug 24, 2018

Australia has a new Prime Minister and where there is change there is hope.

Mr Scott Morrison has been appointed as the new Prime Minister of Australia.

I want you all to know that this petition is ongoing and is addressed to the Prime Minister of Australia, regardless who that may be.

I have amended the wording and the contact details to ensure a seamless and continual process of notification continues with the new Prime Minister with one change only. This petition will now send a notification update to the Prime Minister and all 221 Senator and Members on a weekly basis.

The Notices to government will no longer be dependent on a fixed additional number of signatures as we have now passed 5,000 signatures. We all acknowledge that over 5,000 signatures is a significant figure and warrants attention and action by the Australian Government to fulfil its obligation to guarantee the Freedom of the Australian Citizen Julian Assange.  Petition notices will now be sent every week or when politically or strategically necessary as determined by Signature Members of this Free Julian Assange Australian Petition.

This petition will be ongoing and attracting more signatures every day until such time that Julian Assange is Free. This petition will be a constant reminder to the Australian Government of its overdue responsibility to guarantee Julian Assange's Freedom.

Julian Assange is being tortured through the 149 days and counting of continuous solitary confinement in addition to over 6 years of illegal; arbitrary detention. The solution to this cruel and senseless torture of an Australian Journalist is for the Australian Government to demand his freedom by securing a guarantee from the USA Government that no extradition order will be exercised on him if and when he leaves the Ecuadorian Embassy. If we can secure that guarantee then Julian Assange may be able to answer any Breach of Bail hearings and have his freedom returned.

This Petition will now accelerate its pressure on the New Prime Minister as well as all Senators and Members of the Australian Government.

A Petition Notice will be sent to the Newly Appointed Prime Minister on Monday August 27, 2018, I will also vary the time of day of transmission to ensure it is understood as a human sent (not a robot) communication to the Prime Minister and all 221 Senators and Members to the Australian Government.

Please promote this petition by Resharing, Retweeting and raising awareness of it “over a cup of coffee” and we will Free Julian Assange peacefully and legally.

Thankyou to all of you for your comments and ongoing support, we are people power and we want Julian Assange to be Free.

Best of health to all of you and lets Free Julian Assange,

Phillip
