Hi All, The petition is gathering momentum and today passed 1000 signatures. I will now prepare its first submission directly to the Australian Prime Minister, the Foreign Minister, as well as a copy sent to all Australian sitting opposition parties to the Australian Parliament in both the (Lower House of Parliament) House of Representatives and the Upper House (The Senate).as well as resubmitting the petitions demands to the Prime Minister + all others mentioned above on each and every time the petition passes every additional 1000 signatures. It will likely take me till the weekend to amass all the contacts as I need to do that myself + prepare the submission of petition letter. I will let you all know once it is done. After the first one is done the subsequent (1000's) will be seamless as I will already have all the contacts and draft letter completed. I can imagine the hopeful possibility that this petition will accelerate in its signature rate. If it does, it will become by the nature of its persistent planned resubmission (each time it passes another 1000 signatures) a real irritation to the Prime Minister + everyone else mentioned. It will serve as a burdensome reminder our demands that Julian Assange be allowed safe passage to where ever he chooses to go. Through our collective and persistent efforts and without 1 cent requested this petition will help apply pressure to secure the freedom of Julian Assange. Upto this point I have been managing process entirely on my own, however if the workload required to secure Julian Assange's release requires more time I may put the call out for help, I also wish to make a point, that this petition does not request money for promotion from anyone. Please understand the spirit of this petition, It will never ask for cash from anyone. This petition and my time is PRO BONO. If the Petition Platform provider asks you for donations or contributions that is your call, for me I do not want your money, nor do I expect any financial contribution from anyone. I want our spirit, drive and maybe the odd reshare of the petition link from all of us in different circles, media outlets and social media platforms to be the great help you could provide.
